Welding Procedures/Welding Project Supervision

NIS retains knowledgeable mechanical & welding engineers on staff capable of generating diverse welding procedures for the repair of various systems and structures. The process begins with an initial assessment completed by one of our ticketed NDT technicians where an initial report will be generated and submitted to both the client and the engineer. The next step of the process involves the engineers and NDT techs working together to generate a well-suited procedure to repair and or modify the existing system, component, or structure. Once the procedure is generated NIS offers direct oversight by our certified CWB & CGSB inspectors throughout the process of joint preparation and welding. We follow detailed in-house checklists to make sure all steps have been taken in addition to all parameters having been met throughout the process. Once finalized NIS generates a final report and submits all documents back to the engineering team to have them reviewed and stamped to send back to the client.
