What we do and how we do it
Technical
Excellence
21 years operating at the forefront of testing technology and methodology.
Liquid Penetrant Testing
LPT is a high return-cost ratio inspection process for detailed crack and damage inspection. It relies on liquid penetrants reaching surface imperfections.
Magnetic Particle Inspection
MPI is an advanced form of shallow flaw detection using magnetization and magnetic particles to showcase deformities. This is ideal for inspecting any ferrous metal.
Ultrasonic Inspection
UI excels in non-surface level deformities, defects, and flaws. Using high-frequency ultrasonic waves, internal flaws that normally can remain hidden can be identified non-destructively.
Visual Inspection
Visual Inspection is the first step and the progenitor of all non-destructive testing methods. Technologically assisted visual inspection is a very quick way to spot any initial or obvious flaws.
Vacuum Box Inspection
Vacuum box testing is a low-cost efficient method used to detect welded seam leaks. By combining a vacuum box and an air compressor to create a high or low pressure vacuum while having applied a detergent solution to the test area prior too, the detergent bubbles will provide a visual representation of the leak through the site glass within the pressure range created. This method of inspection is best suited for leak detection on piping systems, tank shells and floor plates as well as most lap joints, t-joints, but welds ect. There are some limitations to the inspection method based on joint design or material thicknesses (lap joints) please inquire for more information.
